Monarch Jock Brief — Grey / Black

The waistband is exposed on purpose. The Monarch does the opposite and makes the band part of the design. A satin-finish elastic in a second colour draws a hard horizontal line across the hip, which is what the crossing straps need to work against — cover it and the whole front detail loses its anchor.

It also changes how the garment sits in a window. The sheen on the elastic catches light where the matte body does not, so the band reads first and the eye follows the straps from there. That is a deliberate order of looking, and it is worth stocking it for your customers.
